    // LOG_001 — NEW SIGNAL DETECTED — THE CHROMATIC FLEET

    New signal detected across the Arcadia frontier. Nine years after the Portable Fleet first launched, the signal shifted frequency. 1998. The Game Boy Color arrived, and the grey gave way.

    Fifty-six colours on screen at once, drawn from a spectrum of thousands. The same pocket-sized defiance, now in Atomic Purple, Teal, Berry, and Dandelion. The worlds Explorers already knew were reborn in colour, and new ones were built to shine from the start.

    The Fleet didn't replace itself. It lit up.

    Same signal. New spectrum.

    // LOG_002 — DECODED FRAGMENT — THE BRIDGE PROTOCOL

    The architects faced a choice: start over, or carry everything forward. They chose continuity. Every Game Boy relic ran on the new hardware. Black cartridges spoke to both generations. Clear cartridges were built for colour alone.

    The Chromatic Fleet was a bridge. Short-lived, overshadowed by what came after, and easy to overlook. That's exactly why it matters. It proved the signal could evolve without abandoning anyone.

    Study the shells. They tell you which world each relic was built for.

    // LOG_003 — FIELD REPORT — THE LIVING WORLD

    Something new appeared in these transmissions: time. Pokémon Gold and Silver carried a clock inside the cartridge. Morning in the game was morning in your room. Night fell when night fell. Some creatures only appeared after dark.

    Explorers checked in before school and again before bed. The world kept moving whether you were holding it or not.

    Link's Awakening returned in colour. Two Oracle quests linked across two cartridges. The frontier was no longer something you paused. It waited, and changed while it waited.

    // LOG_004 — ARCADIUM SIGNAL — THE LIVING FREQUENCY

    The Portable Fleet taught Arcadium presence. The Chromatic Fleet taught it something stranger: Arcadium keeps time.

    It doesn't freeze when you walk away. The light shifts. Days turn over. Something new waits on the other side of night. You return, and the feeling has kept living without you. Patient, but never still.

    Colour wasn't the real revolution. The clock was.

    The Chromatic Fleet is still running. Some signals never stop.
